Singapore Math is new to many math teachers. This is a good resource to help teachers to learn and teach at the same time. This lesson plan provides teachers with examples in teaching word problems involving Mass, through drawing models in 2 to 3 simple steps. To reinforce learning, the worksheet follows closely to the examples given in the lesson plan.

There are 5 examples of word problems on Mass using basic operations and 6 word problems in the worksheets. Problem 1, 2 and 3 are simple word problems, 4, 5 and 6 are challenging problems. They are marked with stars!
