Weekly Word Problem Warm-Ups
I use these word problems as a math warm up twice a week. Working on word problems frequently keeps students’ strategies fresh throughout the year! I project these slides and allow my students to work along on their own copies.
For August to October, students will practice:
Addition to 10
Subtraction to 10
Adding 3 Numbers to 10
Missing Number Problems
For November to July, students will practice:
Addition to 20
Subtraction to 20
Adding 3 Numbers to 20
Missing Number Problems
Included in each monthly pack are:
-8 word problems on full color slides to project on screen or to print (these are included in powerpoint and pdf files)
-black line printable versions of each word problem for students to work along
