Spring Math-tivity : Addition Word Problems using Ten Frames

This Easter/Spring themed activity is called "Ten Frame Turnover." It's a great activity to add to your math centers or stations, morning work, or simply as a spring time practice set!

How this activity works: Students will place word problem cards in box 1. Students will read the word problem and solve using the ten frame. Make sure you supply your students with manipulative (jelly beans, mini erasers, math cubes, etc.) Students will write their answer on the recording sheet. Once the problem is solved, they will turn over the card in box 2 and continue until all problems have been completed.
