Teachers and families need less stress and more time to be their best selves with their little learners! 🍎 I have worked across several general education and special education classrooms. Including but not limited to life skills learning, Montessori learning, vocational education, Title 1 schools, and an adaptive curriculum school for severe and profound disabilities. I have also worked as a special educator for an individualized education program for students with severe and profound intellectual, physical, emotional, hearing, visual, and learning disabilities. I have begun my teaching experiences fully in 2017. I have taught all grades K - 5th. I am passionate about all aspects of education from the students' and teachers' points of view. I decided to become a teacher-author as I'm aware of the hard work and dedication it takes to build and maintain a classroom across general and special education settings! My experiences have helped to define my ethics and quality of work as I hope to bring less stress into your learning environments by providing affordable materials and resources.

My philosophy of welcoming all little learners' educational resources is to provide rich and affordable materials for all students to succeed in an engaging learning environment, built around healthy relationships and quality diverse materials. It has been my long-term mission to provide all students with a safe, culturally responsive, inclusive, caring, and enjoyable learning environment in which students are physically, mentally, and emotionally cared for. This may often include providing multiple means of communication, helping with vocational & life skills, and adapting learning materials to fit diverse learners' needs through accommodations and modifications. It has always been my goal to create this type of atmosphere welcoming all little learners to fully meet their potential and gain self-confidence for entering adulthood. I believe in providing a structured, independent, and play-based learning environment where all students feel comfortable enough to share their ideas and gain positive relationships with one another. My “teaching style” is to be the type of teacher that I had always needed through my early education. To be adaptable to the changing aspects of research and theory it is just as important to relearn information as our students and educational needs change. I believe that no set style can help all students learn as research suggests the need for multiple means of representation and hands-on resources. From my experiences, anything taught should feel insightful but fun. As a teacher, it is often difficult to spend hours planning, modifying, and creating your educational materials and resources.

Earning my Degree and becoming an active member of Kappa Delta Pie’s international honor society of education focused on leadership, scholarship, and service. However, my most rewarding experience is getting to teach some of the most amazing students in my community!

I earned my Degree in Elementary Education as a dual insert qualifying for both general education and special education.
