Make Following Directions Easier with Brain Bites!

Tired of repeating directions all day? Brain Bites will help your students stay focused, remember what you tell them, and help them access higher-order thinking skills — in just 5 minutes a day!

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • You repeat directions constantly
  • Transitions feel chaotic
  • Students depend too much on reminders
  • It feels like your students just. won't. listen.

It's not just you. And it's not your fault. Most of these problems can be solved by addressing students' working memory difficulties.

Brain Bites will:

  • Boost listening skills with auditory tasks
  • Improve visual memory through picture challenges
  • Build independence with practice following steps
  • Support all learners, especially those with executive functioning difficulties (autism, ADHD, and developmental delays)

And, they only take 5 minutes per day, which means you could use them:

  • during morning meeting
  • as a brain break
  • after high-energy activities like recess or lunch

Great value
This resource is a fantastic way to introduce and strengthen working memory and following-directions skills at the beginning of the school year. The activities are engaging, developmentally appropriate, and easy to incorporate into daily routines. My students enjoyed the challenges, and I noticed them becoming more confident with listening, remembering information, and completing multi-step directions. A wonderful resource for supporting executive functioning skills in a fun and meaningful way!
