This tutorial will help you make optimum use of free Google applications. Google Drive offers a great free way to share documents with your students. Think of it as a giant filing cabinet in the sky from which you and your students can draw files whenever and wherever you have access to the Internet. Google allows you and your students to collaborate on assignments and save documents for access at home or at school. It also makes the full writing process visible (especially revisions) so you never completely lose a document on which you worked for hours. Google Docs is very similar to Microsoft Word but totally free. You also have Google Sheets (similar to Excel) and Google Slides (similar to PowerPoint).
