Description
Task cards get an upgrade with these stoplight task cards! Students practice the concept at a level appropriate for them, with 3 levels to choose from (easy, medium, and hard).
Includes:
- 4 easy level problems task cards
- 4 medium level problems task cards
- 4 hard level problems task cards
- *bonus* worksheet with 1 problem from each level (perfect as a check-in assessment!)
See my other 3-level task cards topics!
This activity requires students to self-assess their understanding of writing sine equations from a graph and choose problems to complete based on that assessment. Typically, I ask students to rank their understanding on a stoplight – red means they’re stuck, yellow they are doing okay, and green means they’ve got a complete understanding. The problems correspond to what level the student is at.
One page includes all 3 problem levels: easy, medium, and hard. This page is great as an exit ticket, bell ringer, or formative assessment.
The resource also includes 4 “green light” or hard-level problems, 4 "yellow light" or medium-level problems, and 4 "red light" or easy-level problems. Print two-sided flipped over the long side to create self-checking cards that have the answer printed on the back. These are great for task cards, early finisher problems, extra practice, or formative assessments.
