Description

Write the Room is a movement-based activity that is also great for learning vocabulary and working on handwriting. Students get up and walk around the room finding letters, words, numbers and writing them down.


In this packet, you will find 3 options: Count the Room (practicing counting and number formation, and two Write the Rooms (identifying letters and sounds and practicing letter formation). The activities can be used as a whole class activity or as part of a small group math or literacy station.

The 12 pages include:
- 3 recording sheets

- 3 sets of picture cards

Prep is quick and easy... Just print and laminate the cards.  Display the cards around the classroom.  Print the recording sheets so students can grab the sheet and get to work! his resource can be used as a whole class or small group activity.
