This paragraph writing activity is designed to scaffold the process of writing a focused, well-developed paragraph. Your students will get the support, practice, and confidence they need for any time you ask them to write paragraphs. (This is part of a growing bundle - check it out here!)

This writing activity is perfect for an engaging full class assignment as well as for writing centers or stations. It can also be used as an option for writing workshop. OR, you could use it for a sub plan or for early finishers. It's so versatile and easy to use!

Students are given a handout with eight starter prompts, each designed to take them through the process of writing a focused, organized, and well-developed paragraph. There are opportunities for independent and collaborative work as well. (Be sure to check the preview to see how you will use this resource!)
