This check list helps students to actively check their own work and ensure all parts of there writing needed are included. I have a large sheet that can be on the classroom wall and small induvial check lists that students can use. These are common things I found my students tend to miss or rush over. This helps them take a moment to check their own work so I'm not sending it back. MINTS refers to how I teach when to use capital letters (see poster and worksheets on my page), it stands for; M- months, I- I by itself, N - Names, T- Titles, S- Start of sentence.
