Use this simple writing checklist when teaching paragraph writing or as an intervention for students who struggle to remember the steps of writing a paragraph. A word bank is on the top so students or the teacher can write vocabulary. 5 columns (Topic sentence, 3 supporting sentences, and a concluding sentence) each have a box to be checked off for capital letters, spaces, punctuation and "does it make sense". Visual cues are included in the boxes. A grading blank is found at the bottom for students to check progress and can be kept for data collection for IEP's.
