Writing Editing Checklists
These editing checklists can be used for any piece of writing your students write. Students will check for punctuation, capitalisation, sentences, paragraphs, spelling, and neatness. Since using this resource with my 5th graders, their editing skills have improved dramatically and they are more aware of their errors.
Included in this resource:
- A rainbow upper years checklist
- A rainbow lower years checklist with visuals
- An upper years pencil checklist
- A pencil lower years checklist with visuals
Simply laminate your chosen checklist and students can use the same checklist throughout the year or print copies and students can turn it in with their writing.
