Aligned to Texas TEK 6.9A write one-variable, one-step equations and inequalities to represent constraints or conditions within problems

Students solve 15 problems, then find their answer to color pixels in the grid, eventually revealing a mystery picture. In this activity, students read 15 different verbal expressions and find the matching algebraic expression in the answer boxes. Answer key included.

This activity comes with an optional back page, so activity can be folded in half and glued into students' Interactive Notebooks. Using this option allows the students to reference their work to study or just to show off their math art!
