Virtual Online Instruction- RECORDED lesson that teaches students how to organize a text-dependent written response by using a visual with puzzle pieces. I have successfully taught my students how to construct a well-organized essay using this lesson. The R.A.C.E.R. format is used to teach students how each section of an essay connects. Using color-coded sections, the students are able to clearly see the different parts. This lesson can easily be uploaded to Google Classroom for virtual learning.
