Description
This activity is about making the connection between linear equations and arithmetic sequences. I ask students to find the common difference first (making the connection between “difference” and “slope”), and then they need to find the “b” part that needs to be added so they can plug in a value from their table and get the correct output. Usually about halfway through the worksheet, students figure out that the output for the x-value of 0 is the “b” in the equation.
Don’t forget to leave feedback! I read every comment and greatly appreciate it.
