There are various charts you can print out and have students move their clip to whatever step they are on in the writing process. This helps you, as a teacher, see where students are and allows you to work with students who may need additional help and gives you a visual of when you need to conference with students.

Multiple slides have the same meaning, but are worded differently according to how you may teach it, which allows for differentiation from lower to upper elementary grades.
