Description

Use this handy clip chart to keep track of where your students are in the writing process for any writing piece done in classes like ELA, Social Studies, and Science. Each step on the poster gives details about what the step looks like to guide classroom discussion and student understanding. Also included is a Writing Process Checklist for students to keep with their writing and check off after they complete a step.

This is a great resource for 3rd-8th grades.

>> Easy to put together!

  • Print on cardstock and laminate for longer wear and use.
  • Tape to a holder of some sort. (I used a coat hanger for easy hanging in my classroom.)
  • Add clothespins with student names or numbers or both to track students' completion of the writing process.
