Description

Deepen student understanding of each step in the writing process with the Writing Process Posters. The posters focus on what each step in the process entails, and would make a great display for students to refer back to. Also, the posters could be printed in a smaller size and be put on a binder ring. Students love having their individual set! (To do this you'll need to select "multiple" in your printing options. This option will put multiple posters onto one page for you.)

ABOUT THE POSTERS:
-There are two poster styles included. They each come in color and black and white.
- There are posters for prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing.
- One poster style uses Melonheadz clipart.
- One poster style uses composition notebook and writing pages clipart.
- Please note there are two poster options for the Revising poster. One option focuses on using the "ARMS" strategy. See preview.
-Please note there are two poster options for the Editing Poster. One option focuses on using the "CUPS" strategy. See preview.

STUDENT WRITING REFLECTION
Students will reach the final stage of writing, and I love to see them reflect on their piece. The purpose is for students to set a goal for themselves, and to think of specific ways in which to achieve that goal. An example has also been provided.

STUDENT CONFERENCE LOG
Easily track your student writing conferences with this log. I like for my students to bring their writing piece and their reflection when they conference with me. I take note of student strengths, and what we can improve on moving forward. I refer to the logs throughout the year.

I hope you find this resource more than useful in your classroom. I appreciate your feedback. Happy Teaching!

Love having these on display in my classroom! This year I think I'm going to give each student a clip, so they can mark where they're at in the writing process with each unit!
