Description

Students need to write equations for 15 linear functions in slope intercept form. Horizontal and vertical lines are included as well as graphs without the y-intercept shown, these can be omitted if not needed for your students.

This is a digital interactive activity, so students click on an answer and it will tell them whether they are correct or not. This activity is one that students can do on their own, in or out of the classroom. It can be assigned through Google Classroom or shared through a link. Full worked out solutions are provided for students as well. Purchase also includes a handout for students to show their work on.

When you assign this google slides presentation, post it so that students can view (avoid editing permissions) and they need to click β€œpresent” for the feedback to work.

Includes:

  • Google slides activity with 15 linear functions to write equations for
  • Instruction slides
  • Full worked out solutions
  • Student handout

Construct a function to model a linear relationship between two quantities. Determine the rate of change and initial value of the function from a description of a relationship or from two (𝘹, 𝘺) values, including reading these from a table or from a graph. Interpret the rate of change and initial value of a linear function in terms of the situation it models, and in terms of its graph or a table of values.
Create equations in two or more variables to represent relationships between quantities; graph equations on coordinate axes with labels and scales.
