Description

Teaching students to write testable scientific questions can be challenging—but it doesn’t have to be! This activity uses the simple S.P.A.M.E. acronym to help students quickly learn how to recognize and write high-quality, testable questions. With guided notes, a card sort, and a “test-your-question” tool, students gain confidence in building the foundation of strong scientific investigations.

This resource is ideal for introducing science process skills, preparing for science fair projects, or reviewing the scientific method. It also works perfectly as a science sub plan since it’s clear, engaging, and requires minimal prep.
