Description
Riddles are a great way to make a boring worksheet fun. However, I found students knew the answer to the riddle and just chose the answers to fill in the letters without doing any of the math. This way, students have to create the riddle before they can answer it.

My students loved this resource for review! They were engaged and learning!
I used this in conjunction with the 3 reads protocol and my students were engaged in the activity.
My students love doing riddles and fun activities with their work, so this was a perfect activity for them. The only problem I have is some of the kids realized they could match up the variable to the equations below and get out of doing some of the math. Otherwise, great product!
