This is the clearest way I've learned to teach students how to write introductory paragraphs. This activity page breaks down the three parts of an introductory paragraph. It includes four items. The first three items ask students to complete just one of the three parts of introductory paragraphs, and the final item asks students to write their own introductory paragraph.
