These Year 5 maths tests have been personally created by me as a tutor while running my tutoring business. They have been customised to tailor the specific needs of students and focus on particular topics that may need reinforcing. There are a variety of exercises and activities presented in different formats to keep students engaged. You can also use these worksheets to supplement other materials to reinforce concepts and provide additional practice. Feel free to use these as forms of assessment to evaluate student understanding of particular concepts, identify areas where they may need additional support and track progress overtime. These can be a valuable tool for teachers, parents and students to improve learning and reinforce key mathematical concepts.

Allow your student no more than 30 minutes to complete this test.

This is a 4 page test which will cover parts of Addition, Subtraction and Rounding for Year 5, including:

• Using the concept of doubles to add numbers
• Using the split strategy to add numbers
• Using the compensation strategy to add numbers
• Using the jump strategy to add numbers
• Subtraction questions with problem solving
• Rounding numbers to the nearest hundred/thousand
