These Year 6 maths tests have been personally created by me as a tutor while running my tutoring business. They have been customised to tailor the specific needs of students and focus on particular topics that may need reinforcing. There are a variety of exercises and activities presented in different formats to keep students engaged. You can also use these worksheets to supplement other materials to reinforce concepts and provide additional practice. Feel free to use these as forms of assessment to evaluate student understanding of particular concepts, identify areas where they may need additional support and track progress overtime. These can be a valuable tool for teachers, parents and students to improve learning and reinforce key mathematical concepts.

Allow your student no more than 30 minutes to complete this test.

This is a 3 page test which will cover addition for Year 6, which includes:

• Finding the sum of large numbers
• Finding how many tickets were purchased when given the number of two groups purchasing
• Finding the sum of decimals
• Finding sums of money
• Finding sums of numbers which have powers of 2 or 3
• Finding the sum of five even or odd numbers
• Completing magic squares
• Finding the number solution of various problem solving questions using addition
