Homework has to be consistent, short, and reflect classroom instruction in order to be meaningful. What if I told you THIS would check all of those boxes?

This is something we have used in our classroom for years and we have seen amazing results! And, bonus: Parents LOVE it, too.

So here’s some background on this homework pack. We worked together in vertical PLCs to establish “essential standards” for each grade level. So, we wanted to make sure our students and parents had plenty of opportunities to work with those standards throughout the year. We didn’t feel comfortable calling something “essential” and not making a priority for HOME and SCHOOL. We also wanted to make sure that homework we sent home was meaningful and short. Families have flexibility with the homework setup – it is sent home on Monday and is due on Friday. Families can do pieces of the work each night or choose the night(s) that it works best for them to complete the work.

There are 40 pages of math homework included in this pack - enough for the WHOLE year. It is simple for parents and students to understand, so all YOU have to do is click print.
