St. Patrick’s Word Problems
      Power Point Presentation and PDF File in a Zip File

This file contains ten word problems for St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) based on Pre-Algebra. Students will put their knowledge of fractions, percents, conversions of time and measurement, perimeter, area, and changing square feet to square inches. These problems were created as multi-step problems as practice for most standardized tests.

The problems are in PowerPoint which will allow you to show the problems one at a time. The problems are also in a .pdf file to be used as a handout. On the handout, space is provided so the students may work out the problems on the same page. Included is an answer key.

If you like this project please let us know. We have projects covering the entire school year and some projects are cross curricular (Sports, Patriotism, Seasons, Holidays, History, and Science). Lessons begin at 4th grade and are appropriate for the Middle School and some High School students. These projects have been used successfully in both the Elementary and Middle School levels.
