3 different versions of this missing sound CVC task card center.
This center can be differentiated to meet your classes varying ability levels without being a completely different center. Each set of task cards has a different missing sound whether it is the beginning sounds, ending sound, or middle sound.
Level 1: missing beginning sound
Level 2: missing ending sounds
Level 3: missing middle vowel sound
Each level has its own corresponding recording page, or one page could be used for all three levels.
Organization tip: print the recording sheets on the same colors as you print the task cards. Helps students to know which task cards to use, if they are in a mixed ability group!
