Zoo Pattern Mats (with over 25 Patterns) includes pattern mats, pattern strips, picture cards, and a make your own patterns mat.

Little ones love animals and zoo themed resources. It is usually a favorite theme for many preschoolers and your students will love it just as much!

There are 5 types of patterns covered:

- ABAB

- ABCABC

- AABBAABB

- AABAAB

- ABBABB

Included are 3 different ways to practice these patterns:

- completing the patterns

- copying the patterns

- making their own patterns

Since this resource is full of color and fun, I do recommend laminating these mats and strips so that they do last longer. As well as using velcro dots so that the picture cards stay in place. However you could also use these as "worksheets" or put them in page protectors in a binder.

You could add these zoo themed patterns to your math centers, SPED or preschool classrooms, kindergarten classrooms, homeschool, or you use them as a class activity, mini zoo-themed lesson, etc.
