Description

I created this alternate version of the Topic 3 assessment to be more user friendly but still maintain the expected rigor of the enVision curriculum. The first portion assess the student's proficiency with the strategies taught in Topic 3. They may use which ever strategy for the rest of the assessment and are given space to show their work.

I have left it editable so you can adjust it to fit your classroom and students. I like to use my name and the names of my students in the word problems to increase engagement and interest. I have included a number chart for students to use, but you may choose to remove it ( I do teach my kids how to use the number chart strategy without having a number chart in front of them).

All my assessments and quizzes include "solve the equality" bonus question(s).
