This iReady READING and MATH Goal Setting tool is designed to enhance personalized instruction alongside iReady MATH. This resource empowers students to set personal goals, track their progress with an intuitive color-coded key, and reflect on their achievements each month.
Key Features:
- Monthly Goal Setting: Each month, students will establish two specific goals as they engage in personalized instruction, which includes teacher-assigned lessons and/or MyPath activities. Includes a blank goal page to set your own minutes and goals.
- Focused on READING and MATH: These goal-setting sheets are specifically tailored for READING or MATH, providing a clear structure for students to enhance their learning.
- Goal Examples:
- Goal #1: "I will spend 45 minutes on task each week." iReady recommends that students aim for 45 minutes of personalized instruction per subject each week to consistently maintain the ideal range of 30–49 minutes.
- Goal #2: "I will pass __ lessons." This encourages students to strive for success and ensures their time on task is meaningful to their learning.
- The last page in the resource has a line to fill in your own minute goal.
- Research-Backed Approach: Studies indicate that students who adhere to the recommended i-Ready usage (30–49 minutes per subject per week and passing at least 70% of their Lesson Quizzes) surpass their Typical Growth targets in both Reading and Mathematics.
