Description

This resource is designed to support the i-Ready Classroom Mathematics Curriculum for Grade 2 and provides meaningful, consistent practice for students throughout each unit.

Each worksheet combines spiral review with new skill practice, helping students strengthen previously learned concepts while building new understanding at the same time. This structure ensures that skills are continuously reinforced rather than forgotten as the year progresses.

Every worksheet includes:

  • Addition and subtraction fluency within 20
  • Additional addition and subtraction practice aligned to grade-level expectations

The resource is organized into five sessions within each unit:

  • Session 1: Word problem practice
  • Session 2: Place value skills
  • Session 3: Skip counting
  • Session 4: Measurement
  • Session 5: Patterns and repeated addition

These sessions provide a built-in spiral review of essential Grade 2 math concepts across the unit, supporting long-term retention and mastery.
To meet the needs of all learners, each worksheet is differentiated using a clear star system:

  • 1 Star: Below grade level
  • ⭐⭐ 2 Stars: On grade level
  • ⭐⭐⭐ 3 Stars: Above grade level

This makes it easy to assign targeted practice or provide flexible differentiation within your classroom.

This resource is especially valuable because the i-Ready curriculum does not include built-in spiral review. These worksheets help fill that gap, ensuring students revisit and retain critical math skills all year long.
