Hello, and welcome to my little piece of the TpT universe! I'm glad you are here! I have been a music educator for 30+ years, both in the classroom and teaching privately. I found a passion in curriculum design and writing and used this skill to train future music educators for the classroom at the Manhattan School of Music. I founded MusicMakers Academy in 1997, where I have trained oodles of music teachers, and work with wonderful students and parents! Teaching style
My teaching style is best described as encouraging the freedom of creativity through providing a clear structure. I believe in FUN - we all learn best when we are fully engaged and enjoying the experience of learning. I believe every child is inherently creative and musical, and my job is to encourage their growth and love of music by meeting them wherever they are.

I have two beautiful, musical adult daughters and I'm a proud dog-momma! I live in Manchester, CT where I love to garden, hang out with my family, and volunteer. I visit my daughters in Boston and Los Angeles every chance I get!
