I am in my 5th year teaching in a self-contained classroom for students with Autism grades 3-5. I'm based at a public school in Northern Virginia.
I love creating adapted materials to help all of my learners succeed! Many of my students participate in the Virginia Alternative Assessment Program (VAAP) so I make a lot of materials to align to these standards.
I created and led an Autism Awareness Day at my school that helped spread acceptance!
I have a Masters in Special Education K-12 and a graduate level certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University. I am pursuing an endorsement in Adapted Curriculum, also at GMU.
I recently got married and I am slowly changing my name over, I go by Morris now but there are still a lot of things that say Nicole Dales-yes that's me!
