Welcome to my store! I'm Linda, and I help middle school language arts and social studies teachers with units, activities, centers, lessons, seasonal ideas, and more. You are in the right place if you are looking for unique, quality, and affordable ideas for your middle schoolers.
I am beyond excited to bring my many years in the classroom to TPT! I am passionate about making middle school reading and writing workshop skills-based and accessible for all middle school learners. In social studies, I use interactive lessons and learning centers to help students understand abstract concepts and make history relevant.
I taught kindergarten and first grade for the first 14 years of my career and then spent the next 20 years as a middle school language arts and social studies teacher. I have mentored many, many younger teachers. I know how difficult this profession is, and I aim to share my experience to make it easier/better for the next generation of educators.

Teaching style
Language arts: I use reading and writing workshop model (Teachers’ College), interwoven with grammar, poetry, and engaging skill work.
Social studies: American history – I use interactive notebooks, well laid out interactive slideshows, and project based learning. There is an emphasis on connecting all things social studies… from geography to relevant current events, all lessons are integrated to keep the students engaged and making sense of the past.
