Hello 👋 My name is Ashley and I am the person behind Ashley Hosch Teaching Resources. I grew up with a plethora of educators in my family, including my mom who taught kindergarten for 30 years.
I previously taught preschool (3-4 year olds) in headstart for 4 years. Following my time at headstart, I stayed home with my daughter. I thoroughly enjoyed creating fun and engaging activities for her.
As she aged into school I was offered the position of children's ministry director at my church.Currently I serve as the children's ministry director for my church where I serve babies all the way up to 6th graders.
I take all of my varied experience and work to create engaging and thematic learning opportunities that are available to a wide range of people here on TPT.

Teaching style
I believe in teaching that we must educate each child at their level. In action this may look like an engaging thematic lesson that helps to expand and extend a child's knowledge of a specific area of learning, but could also look like a one on one lesson of how to handle strong emotions using techniques that help them gain confidence and independence in problem solving.
My own education history
I earned my BS in early childhood education from Athens State University.
Additional biographical information
When I am not creating resources, I like to find unique "hole in the wall" restaurants / coffee shops to eat at with my little family. I also like to travel and be active by rock climbing, hiking, swimming, etc when possible. :)
