I created this book for my kindergarten hibernation unit. It is a half-page decodable book about animals that hibernate. The students fill in the vocabulary word "hibernate" and draw a picture of each animal that hibernates.
This is a fun way for students to set and track their goals throughout kindergarten. A student selects a goal that they want to meet, which is printed on a gumball. Once the student accomplishes the goal, they get to add it to their gumball machine. It is a great way for them to see how much they have accomplished over the course of the year. They will love seeing their gumball machine filling up and will be excited about the goals they are setting and meeting! It also makes a great bulletin boa

This template is what I use for my guided reading group lesson plans. It includes a data sheet that I print and use for each child. There is a section on the template for CAFE strategy used for each lesson, and a place to write in what you want to work on for the next lesson.
