I created this book for my kindergarten hibernation unit. It is a half-page decodable book about animals that hibernate. The students fill in the vocabulary word "hibernate" and draw a picture of each animal that hibernates.

This is a fun way for students to set and track their goals throughout kindergarten. A student selects a goal that they want to meet, which is printed on a gumball. Once the student accomplishes the goal, they get to add it to their gumball machine. It is a great way for them to see how much they have accomplished over the course of the year. This template is what I use for my guided reading group lesson plans. It includes a data sheet that I print and use for each child. There is a section on the template for CAFE strategy used for each lesson, and a place to write in what you want to work on for the next lesson.
