About the store
I am passionate about helping ALL students be successful. I create resources and games to help teachers make that happen. I have had the pleasure of teaching in the school setting for over 17 years. I was a cross-categorical special education teacher for 8 years, working with kindergarten through 4th grade students and a 1st-grade teacher for two years. I currently work part-time as a reading specialist, coaching teachers and interventionist with kindergarten through 8th-grade students and I'm a professional tutor. I am a curriculum writer at heart. I have been making materials that align with the common core for myself and my teams to enhance student learning for years. Teaching style

I believe in the importance of engaging students and building strong relationships. I also use individualized, multisensory, differentiated instruction that I know is best practice based on current brain research. ALL children can learn and as an educator, it’s our job to teach them in the best way possible while giving them confidence in their abilities.

I have spent the last eight years researching and digging deeper into dyslexia and the science of reading. I know first-hand the strengths and struggles of dyslexia.
