The short story “Resident Alien” by Charles Kowalski, first published in the anthology DARK MATTER: ARTIFICIAL (Pikeville, NC: Freedom Fox Press, 2021, pp. 110-127), uses science fiction to explore real-world issues of discrimination and human rights.
