My classes are very hands on and always love to play games, rather than just study straight from the book. I came up with this activity as a review game before our test on food vocabulary. The activity from start to finish took us about 20 minutes and was great for student engagement.
A few of my students were having difficulty remembering when to use the various tenses. This is just a basic handout that I gave them to use to study before their test.
This is a worksheet that includes photos of well known characters and the appropriate Spanish family vocab that goes along with them. There is also a section at the bottom for students to add descriptive words
This is a powerpoint that I used as a review activity with my Spanish 2 classes to study their after school activities vocabulary. The class was split into two teams and a member from each team came to the front of the class for each round. I would show a clipart that represents one of our words and the students would buzz in to answer. Whatever team first guessed correctly received the points.
