I have taught 3rd grade in Georgia for 8 years, all of which have been collaborative classrooms! I LOVE teaching! My true love is curriculum development! I love to create fun activities for my students and challenging assessments. I set the bar HIGH in my classroom, but my students always rise to the occasion!
I like a little bit of everything! I do a lot of small group, formative assessments, reorganizing, and more small groups! I love cooperative learning activities, but I also love a good whole group discussion too! I like it all! Balancing all different strategies and styles is part of what makes my classroom successful!
