I graduated from Mandeville High School (in Mandeville, LA) in May of 1993 and began my college education at LSU, Baton Rouge, that Fall. I earned a B.S. in Psychology with a Minor in Sociology from LSU in May 1998. I began graduate studies in counseling at SLU in Hammond, LA in August 1998. I earned my M.Ed. in Counselor Education with honors in December 2001. I also attained my National Certified Counselor status at that time. I entered the St.Tammany Parish School System in January 2002 with my 1st official counseling position. I completed the required time, experience, and supervision necessary to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) during my first 2.5 years working in schools. Although I have not branched out into the private practice world of counseling yet, I certainly may take advantage of the experience in the future!
