Teaching style
My focus is on independent work and small groups, which is reflected in my curriculum. My materials are easily adaptable to meet the needs of a wide variety of educators. Homeschooling families, adult learners, conventional schools, and alternative educational settings can all benefit from the things I am sharing in this store. IMPORTANT: My work does not contain "vosotros" as I teach Latin American Spanish.

No award is greater than a nice note of appreciation from a student, and I have received many of those throughout the years.
I am a lifelong learner, and when I did my Master's a few years ago I maintained a 4.0 average throughout my graduate studies.
My own education history
I have a Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a Concentration in Bilingual Education, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Communication Arts. I am currently certified to teach Spanish and ESL.
I am working on a new endeavor with sound healing, using crystal singing bowls, and am on the path to earning a certification in using crystal singing bowls to support children in establishing a calmer, more centered state.
Additional biographical information
Being bilingual and bicultural is central to who I am as a person and as a professional. By opening up my mind and heart at an early age to other cultures, I was able to gain a better understanding of the world, and, on a practical level, was able to find work rather easily because of my Spanish-speaking abilities. I have made it my mission as an educator to offer that same opportunity to others. The variety of experiences that I have had have helped me to expand my knowledge as an educator and deepened my knowledge and creativity.
