I have been teaching English/Language Arts at the 6-12th grade level for 24 years. I am also teaching at the college level. I have a masters degree in distance education, and masters hours in English. I love teaching all areas of English: grammar, writing, literature, etc. My most favorite units to teach involve research projects.

It allows students to channel their creative/technological side while still focusing on the important elements of fiction including characterization, setting, and other key features of reading fiction. Teaching style

I believe students should be challenged to rise to their full potential, but it is important that I am there to help guide them along the way and address challenges they face. Students want to learn and find great success in accomplishing things they didn't think they were capable of. In my classroom, we strive for the best.
