Experience

With 11 years of teaching experience under my belt, I've honed my craft to become a dynamic force in education. Specializing in kindergarten and 2nd grade, I bring the perfect blend of enthusiasm, creativity, and expertise to the classroom. I have taught kindergarten and second grade in title 1 schools and I am currently an instructional coach at a K-12 tribal school.

Teaching style

Step into my classroom, and you'll find an environment bursting with energy and excitement. I firmly believe that learning should be fun, engaging, and filled with endless possibilities. That's why I incorporate movement, outdoor and project based learning as well as cultural experiences into my teaching, turning lessons into lively experiences that captivate young minds and foster a love for learning. But it's not just about the lesson plans – it's about the connections we build along the way. I prioritize building strong relationships with my students, creating a supportive community where everyone feels valued and empowered to succeed. As an instructional coach, I'm always seeking out new resources and strategies to enhance my teaching practice. Whether it's incorporating the latest technology or experimenting with innovative teaching methods, I'm committed to continuous growth and improvement. But above all, my teaching style is rooted in positivity and a deep love for education. I believe in the power of optimism to inspire greatness in both students and educators alike. With me as your guide, every day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and shine bright!

My own education history

I grew up in the same school district and graduated from high school with a class of 450 people. During high school I did running start and moved on to university where I got my teaching credentials. I am certified P-3 with a degree in early childhood education and the ability to teach English to speakers of other languages. A little while later I received my masters in Learning and Technology from Western Governors University.
