Additional biographical information
A couple of years ago I had the amazing opportunity to teach in China for 40 days. As I look back, I realize how horrible my lessons were and I can only hope that some of the students actually learned something. As I reflect on China, I use my mistakes from those lessons and learn from them.
I absolutely love Astronomy. My dream is to teach 5th grade Math and Science. I want to inspire students (especially girls) to go into STEM majors. Astronomy is a subject that motivates a lot of students to learn and I cannot wait to share my love for it with my future students.
All throughout my life I wanted to be a chef until recently. So long story short, I can cook pretty darn well.
