I craft my lessons carefully, using news stories, documentary videos, and thought-provoking questions. My ideal scenario is one where the students do all the work in the lesson - they think, they analyse, they share their opinions. In the meantime, I - as the teacher - am free to focus on the students' use of language.
When writing, I take particular care to make the lesson flow well. My thinking is, it's better to have too many stages in the lesson, rather than too few.
I love to see other teachers using my ideas, and I'm always interested to hear your feedback on my lessons.
