About the store

Experience

I have been teaching since January 2017. Prior to that I was a zoo keeper. I enjoy mixing my love for animals with my passion for teaching! I find my students enjoy it too. I have taught 3-5 grade and I have little ones at home that I frequently create resources for.

Teaching style

I strongly believe in building a relationship with my students first. They need to know I care and they need to feel safe in our classroom before any real learning can take place. After that, I prefer doing project based learning, collaborative assignments, and putting ownership over learning in my students' hands. We love to laugh and joke in our classroom, and I've been known to find memes or comics that go along with what we're learning in class. I do my best to make my room enjoyable and safe!
