My Teaching Philosophy:
I believe that all children are unique and possess their own strengths. It is my job as an educator to aid students in reaching their full potential and discovering these strengths while fostering a lifelong love for learning.
Students need to be encouraged to inquire about the world around them in a safe, yet challenging environment. By promoting a classroom culture that holds universal high expectations, encourages growth mindsets, promotes autonomy, and is a place of respect and trust, the building blocks for deeper learning are set.
As a teacher, I believe in learning that is grounded in experience and driven by student interest. My goal as an educator is to create curious, lifelong learners with 21st century skills who care deeply for the world and contribute to a better and brighter tomorrow.
