Punch cards are a great way to have immediate action after you compliment a student for their great behavior or work! I print these on color card stock and my students keep these in their pencil bags. When we begin whole class instruction, they keep them out on their desk and if few students are participating I begin giving students "punches" on their cards and that increases student engagement. It is editable so that if you have younger grades you can have less punches to complete the whole car
Here is the bag tag template that I created to make my bag tags as seen on my Instagram and TikTok (@graceingradeschool). **Please note that these are the circle outlines and size circles I used, but the font can be changed to whatever you would like. I typed my words in them and printed on colored card stock! You can get the physical tag on Amazon or Mardel Book Store!

I used these cards for one of my GLOW DAY stations. - Neon tape from Amazon to create the tic-tac-toe on my carpet. - Glow sticks for the "x" and "o"s. - Students place these cards in each spot on the tic-tac-toe board. If it was their turn, they chose which space they wanted to put their x or o in and had to solve the problem in that spot. BOTH partners solved each problem to ensure they got the correct answer and it ensures that all students are working on math the entire time. If the studen

In my class, we created a "Class Snow Globe". These are the snowflakes that I printed and cut out for them to decorate! Once they decorated, I laminated them and placed a magnet on the back for them to put them on the board!

This is an activity that is perfect for the Math Madness Season! You can download this and then upload it to Google Classroom/Seesaw and have your students open it in Kami in order to write on it. You can also print this to use for your class. This is a fun activity that I do in march. It helps the students understand how brackets work, while focusing on comparing fractions. They teach this in 4th grade but it is also beneficial for a review in 5th grade.
This is a holiday color by number. It is targeted for 5th grade Order of Operations. This can be used in 6th grade as well, especially beginning of 6th grade when students know orders of operations without exponents.
This resource is a Quick Check or Exit Ticket to see how your students are doing with multiplying and dividing decimals. It is a google form that is created and 10 questions long with the answers.
In a world that is so "unprecedented" I hope this creation can help you connect better with your students! It has been monumental to my classroom community and the relationships I have with my students. Sometimes it is hard for little ones (and even older students) to process all that is going on in their lives, and they aren't sure how to let others know. This is helpful so that they can write it out rather than speak it! This can be a one time thing or something you just keep at the back of th
