About the store

Experience

I have had the opportunity to teach all subjects 3-5. For the last 5 years I have had the opportunity to teach only 4th grade math. I feel like 4th grade math is my niche and I hope it is where I get to stay for the remainder of my teaching career.

Teaching style

My goal each day is for the students to tell me that "it was fun and it was easy". If it was "fun", that lets me know that they understood the lesson to the point that it was enjoyable. I want all of my students to leave 4th grade as confident math students. I believe scaffolding lessons appropriately is the key to making students confident and successful.
